Description
Wireless Apple CarPlay runs over WiFi, so your NBT EVO head unit needs a WiFi antenna plugged in. Without one, CarPlay drops out or won't connect. This antenna plugs into the WiFi port on the back of the head unit.

Do I need the WiFi antenna?
If your car never had factory CarPlay and you're getting our iDrive 4 to iDrive 6 Upgrade or a CarPlay activation, most likely yes. If CarPlay drops out or won't connect, a missing antenna is the usual cause. Cars that already have factory CarPlay, even split screen, already have one.
Which head units does it fit?
BMW NBT EVO head units. It plugs into the WiFi port on the back of the head unit.
How hard is it to fit?
No cutting. You need access to the back of the head unit, and we send you a video showing exactly how to fit it.
Is it the same as the OEM part?
It does the same job as the OEM antenna (part 61119278133) and plugs into the same port.
