Manual or DCT? Both work. The gearbox flash is for DCT cars, and manual cars still get the steering, diff, M Dynamic Mode and damper upgrades.

What You Need
- ENET cable (OBD2 to Ethernet, grab one from our store or Amazon AU)
- Windows laptop or Mac (both work natively)
- TeamViewer installed
- Stable internet (WiFi or a phone hotspot)
- Battery charger or tender connected during the session. Flashing the gearbox pulls power and a flat battery mid flash is the one thing that can cause problems.

- Plug in the ENET cable, connect the charger, open TeamViewer
- Our technician flashes the GTS / CS software live

FAQ
Can I go back to stock? Yes. We keep your original software and can flash it back if you sell the car or need dealer work.
Will a dealer update undo it? A dealer software update can overwrite it. Let us know and we’ll sort it.
Does it add horsepower? No. This is gearbox and chassis software. It changes how the car shifts, steers and puts power down, not engine output.
Will it affect my warranty? It’s genuine BMW software, but any software change can be questioned on a warranty claim. Check yours if it’s still covered.
Is this genuine BMW software? Yes. These are BMW’s own calibrations from the M3 / M4 GTS and CS, applied to your car’s existing modules.
Do I need any new hardware? No. Everything is done through your car’s OBD port.
Will it work with my existing tune? Usually yes, since this doesn’t touch engine software. Send us your VIN and tune details and we’ll confirm.
Is flashing safe? Yes, with the battery supported and a stable connection. We scan for faults before and after every session.
How long does it take? Most sessions take under an hour.
What if something isn’t right after? Message us and we’ll reconnect and fix it at no extra cost.

Had the NBT EVO ID4 to ID6 upgrade done on my 2016 M4 and the difference is huge. The new iDrive interface looks much more modern and having full-screen Apple CarPlay makes the interior feel years newer. Process was smooth and everything worked perfectly.
My X1 came with the newer EntryNav2 system but didn't have Apple CarPlay activated from factory. Bimmer Drive enabled it remotely and now CarPlay works wirelessly exactly like OEM. Very easy process just connected the ENET cable and they handled the rest.
My G30 5 Series already had factory Apple CarPlay but it was stuck in the smaller split-screen layout. The fullscreen activation made such a big difference. Looks cleaner and uses the whole display like newer BMWs. No aftermarket hardware needed.
I was looking at aftermarket CarPlay screens for my F30 but decided to keep the factory system instead. The NBT EVO CarPlay activation gave me everything I wanted while keeping the original BMW interface, steering wheel controls and sound quality.

Which cars is the GTS flash for?
Every F8X M car: F80 M3 (2014 to 2018), F82 M4 Coupe and F83 M4 Convertible (2014 to 2020), and F87 M2 / M2 Competition (2016 to 2021). Base or Competition.
I have a manual. Is it still worth it?
Yes. The gearbox flash is DCT only, but manual cars still get the GTS steering, rear diff, M Dynamic Mode and damper upgrades.
Does my car need adaptive dampers?
Only for the CS damper calibration. Cars without EDC adaptive dampers get everything else.
Should I get the Track & Tech Package instead?
If your car is still on iDrive 4 and you want CarPlay, yes. The Track & Tech Package adds iDrive 6, lifetime fullscreen CarPlay and a coding pack to this flash in one session, for less than buying them separately.
What if it turns out my car isn't compatible?
If we checked your VIN, recommended this flash and got it wrong, you get a full refund. If the details we were given were wrong (VIN, model or gearbox), we refund the order minus a fee that covers the time we've already spent. Send your VIN before you buy and we'll confirm it first.
