Who is this head unit for?
BMWs that currently have the older NBT system. NBT can't be coded to iDrive 6, so swapping to a genuine NBT EVO unit is the factory route to iDrive 6 and OEM CarPlay.
My car already has NBT EVO.
Then you don't need a new head unit. On iDrive 4, get our iDrive 4 to iDrive 6 Upgrade. On iDrive 5 or 6, our CarPlay Activation is all you need.
Is it ready to plug in?
Yes, for compatible cars. We code and configure it to your car's spec and bench test it before it ships.
Will I need any other parts?
Some cars also need a compatible CID display, APIX cable or WiFi antenna, depending on how they left the factory. We check your VIN, tell you what's needed and can supply it all.
Is this an aftermarket screen?
No. It's a genuine OEM BMW NBT EVO head unit with 4GB RAM, so you keep the factory look, Bluetooth, navigation and iDrive.
