What You Need
- ENET cable (OBD2 to Ethernet, grab one from our store or Amazon AU)
- Windows laptop with 30GB free (Mac works with Windows via Boot Camp or Parallels)
- TeamViewer installed
- Stable internet (WiFi or a phone hotspot)
- Battery charger or tender connected during the session. Flashing pulls power and a flat battery mid flash is the one thing that can cause problems.
- WiFi antenna plugged into the back of the head unit (OEM part 61119278133 or an aftermarket FAKRA antenna). Not included, but we send you a video showing how to fit it.
How it works
- Order and we send you the software to download
- We book your remote session at a time that suits you
- Plug in the ENET cable, connect the charger, open TeamViewer
- Our technician flashes iDrive 6, the GTS software and your coding live
- About 1 hour later, you’re on iDrive 6 with CarPlay and GTS software
FAQ
How much do I save? Bought separately it’s about $660. The Track & Tech Package is $519.99.
Is it permanent? Yes, one payment.
Does it add horsepower? No. The GTS flash is gearbox and chassis software. Engine output stays the same.
Why do I need the WiFi antenna? CarPlay runs over WiFi. Without the antenna the connection drops.
Will a dealer update undo it? A dealer software update can reset it. Let us know and we’ll sort it.

Had the NBT EVO ID4 to ID6 upgrade done on my 2016 M4 and the difference is huge. The new iDrive interface looks much more modern and having full-screen Apple CarPlay makes the interior feel years newer. Process was smooth and everything worked perfectly.
My X1 came with the newer EntryNav2 system but didn't have Apple CarPlay activated from factory. Bimmer Drive enabled it remotely and now CarPlay works wirelessly exactly like OEM. Very easy process just connected the ENET cable and they handled the rest.
My G30 5 Series already had factory Apple CarPlay but it was stuck in the smaller split-screen layout. The fullscreen activation made such a big difference. Looks cleaner and uses the whole display like newer BMWs. No aftermarket hardware needed.
I was looking at aftermarket CarPlay screens for my F30 but decided to keep the factory system instead. The NBT EVO CarPlay activation gave me everything I wanted while keeping the original BMW interface, steering wheel controls and sound quality.
Got CarPlay and Android Auto activated on my G20 3 Series. The whole process took around 15 minutes and now everything works exactly like it should from factory. Great service and saved me a trip to BMW.

Which cars is the Track & Tech Package for?
F87 M2, F80 M3 and F82 / F83 M4 running NBT EVO on iDrive 4, mostly mid 2015 to 2016 builds. Your version screen will show NBTEvo_A, C, D, E or F.
My car is already on iDrive 5 or 6.
Message us before you order. We swap the iDrive upgrade for the right CarPlay option for your car. If you only want the chassis side, the GTS Performance Flash is on its own too.
I have a manual. What do I get?
Everything except the GTS gearbox flash: iDrive 6, CarPlay, mirroring, video in motion, GTS steering, diff, M Dynamic Mode, damper software and the coding pack.
What's in the coding pack?
You pick your favourite hidden features during the session and our technician codes them in.
Where do I get the WiFi antenna?
Grab our WiFi Antenna or the OEM part 61119278133. It plugs into the back of the head unit and we send a video showing how to fit it.
What if it turns out my car isn't compatible?
If we checked your VIN, recommended this package and got it wrong, you get a full refund. If the details we were given were wrong (VIN, model or software version), we refund the order minus a fee that covers the time we've already spent. Send your VIN and a photo of your version screen before you buy.
